Dropbox

Senior Director, Head of Design, Dropbox Core
Sept 2020 – Sept 2022
As the Head of Design for Dropbox Core, Jasmine led four design groups across the essentials of Dropbox, mobile, sharing & team experiences, new businesses, and new layers on the Dropbox platform. She partnered with Dropbox Core's GM, VP of Product, and VP of Engineering to drive vision & strategy for the organization.
She also co-led the global design organization, partnering with research and central design leads. As the active product design lead, she formed & led Dropbox's product design leadership team, consisting of six product design directors & 20+ managers. This group was responsible for driving performance cycle & other operations, as well as setting direction for manager development, recruiting, culture, and more.
Jasmine identified and took on key strategic projects including defining Dropbox Core's Jobs to be Done, making strides with organization at Dropbox, and kicked off Dropbox Core's reinvention strategy.
Her team of directors consisted of four leads she hired and promoted. These leads' teams delivered a variety of work across Dropbox, not limited to but including: a cleanup & evolution of the desktop experience, admin features, contractor & professional experiences, mobile home experience, mobile search, mobile photos, the introduction of Cmd E, previews, collections, simplified sharing, sync, Backup, Capture, Replay, Shop, and more.

Intercom

Director, Head of Design & Site Lead, San Francisco
Jan 2019 – Aug 2020
Jasmine joined Intercom in early 2019, and built the San Francisco design team from the ground up, establishing top-notch recruiting, hiring, and onboarding practices.
She served as site lead as the solo R&D director on the ground in San Francisco and led the organization through significant culture and organizational change.
She managed the growth design teams, partnering locally with Intercom's go-to-market organization. Her teams delivered large-scale experiments from pricing & packaging to onboarding.
Additionally, she served as both product and design director on Intercom's Messenger, and led Intercom's only end-user-facing product: setting strategy and delivering a suite of product features & experiences.
Unfortunately, Jasmine's impact at Intercom ended early due to an office-wide closure of the R&D organization in San Francisco during 2020's pandemic.

Udacity

Director, Head of Design
Jan 2018 – Jan 2019
Jasmine joined Udacity as the head of design in early 2018, taking on a small team of product designers, design systems engineers, and design program managers.
Over the course of 2018, Udacity began a substantial strategic shift, in which Jasmine crafted, hired, and led a research team to deliver directional insights in partnership with Udacity's founder.
Simultaneously, Jasmine also led the team as they delivered Veritas — a fully expressed design system — and shipped experiences for mobile, class project management, enterprise customers, and more.
